   Plan važi do kraja tekuće godine. — The plan is valid until the end of the current year.
2. (of water) running; flowing
   Vikendica nema tekuću vodu. — The cottage has no running water.

“Tekući račun” is an ordinary bank account for salary and payments. In the meaning ‘liquid’ Serbian uses tečan (tečni sapun); tekući in that sense is mainly Croatian usage.
