2. (ravnati se prema, po) to follow the example of; to go by
   Mlađi brat se uvek ravna prema starijem. — The younger brother always takes his lead from the older one.
   Ravnamo se po uputstvima proizvođača. — We go by the manufacturer's instructions.

In the sense "to follow, go by" it takes se: ravnati se prema kome / po čemu.
