   Nova linija metroa biće puštena u pogon sledeće godine. — The new metro line will be put into operation next year.
   Lift opet nije u pogonu. — The lift is out of operation again.

The phrase "u pogonu" means "working, in operation", and "van pogona" means "out of operation".
