2. (+ u + loc.) to be reflected; to show
   Kriza se najviše ogleda u cenama. — The crisis shows most in prices.
   Planine su se ogledale u jezeru. — The mountains were reflected in the lake.
3. (+ s + instr.) to measure oneself against; to take on
   Naš tim će se ogledati sa šampionom. — Our team will take on the champion.
4. (+ u + loc., of an activity) to try one's hand at something
   Ogledao se i u pisanju poezije. — He also tried his hand at writing poetry.

The verb is usually used with se: ogledati se.
