narudžba

1. (goods, service, food) order
   Vaša narudžba stiže za pola sata. — Your order will arrive in half an hour.
   Konobar je zaboravio našu narudžbu. — The waiter forgot our order.
2. (in the phrase po narudžbi) custom order; work done to a customer's specification
   Ovaj nameštaj je rađen po narudžbi. — This furniture was made to order.

In Serbia the usual word is porudžbina (less often narudžbina): a waiter or courier will say 'Vaša porudžbina'. The form narudžba is less common in Serbia (mostly in the phrase po narudžbi) and is the standard form in Croatia. The idiom is usually kao po porudžbini or kao naručen; kao po narudžbi is also used.
