2. Croat. (of speech) frankly; bluntly
   Reći ću vam izravno: ne sviđa mi se taj plan. — I'll tell you frankly: I don't like that plan.

The word is characteristic of the Croatian standard; in Serbia it is rare and usually perceived as a Croatianism. In Serbia people say direktno, neposredno, pravo (sense 1) or otvoreno, bez uvijanja (sense 2).
