   Ove godine je fokus na mladim igračima. — This year the focus is on young players.
   Tema korupcije je stalno u fokusu medija. — Corruption is constantly in the media focus.
2. (in photography, optics) focus
   Slika nije u fokusu, sve je mutno. — The picture is out of focus, everything is blurry.
3. (in optics, physics) focus; focal point
   Posle prelamanja zraci se skupljaju u fokusu sočiva. — After refraction the rays converge at the focus of the lens.

Common phrases are "biti u fokusu" (to be in the focus) and "staviti fokus na" + acc. (to put the focus on).
