2. (of a bicycle, motorbike) handlebars
   Upravljač na biciklu mi je malo nakrivljen. — The handlebars on my bike are slightly crooked.
3. (in legal, official texts) operator; managing authority
   Upravljač puta je dužan da održava kolovoz. — The road operator is required to maintain the roadway.
   Upravljač zaštićenog područja donosi plan upravljanja. — The managing authority of the protected area adopts the management plan.

In Serbia, volan is the usual everyday word for a car's steering wheel (za volanom, ruke na volanu); upravljač is also used in this sense, especially in technical language. The word is also used in Serbia for bicycle handlebars and for an operator (upravljač puta).
