   Kupila sam jagode na tezgi kod ulaza u pijacu. — I bought strawberries at a stall by the market entrance.
   Prodavac je složio paradajz na tezgu. — The seller laid the tomatoes out on the stall.
2. colloq. side job; gig
   Vikendom radi tezgu kao konobar. — On weekends he has a side job as a waiter.
   Bend ima tezgu u subotu na jednoj svadbi. — The band has a gig at a wedding on Saturday.
3. (in a workshop) workbench
   Alat stoji na stolarskoj tezgi u garaži. — The tools are on the carpenter's workbench in the garage.

The sense "side job" gives the verb tezgariti, "to moonlight".
