1. comic book artist; cartoonist
   Moj brat je poznati striper. — My brother is a well-known comic book artist.
   Na festivalu su se okupili striperi iz cele regije. — Comic artists from all over the region gathered at the festival.
2. colloq. (usually of a man) stripper
   Za devojačko veče su unajmile stripera. — They hired a stripper for the bachelorette party.
   Striper je skinuo košulju uz glasnu muziku. — The stripper took off his shirt to loud music.

The comic-artist sense is older and used mainly in comics circles; colloquially striper usually means a male stripper (also striptizer). A female stripper is striptizeta.
