1. (of a person, mind) deranged; distraught; mentally disturbed
   Posle nesreće bio je psihički potpuno rastrojen. — After the accident he was completely distraught.
   Napadač je, prema svedocima, delovao rastrojeno. — According to witnesses, the attacker seemed deranged.
2. formal (of an army, system) shattered; in disarray
   Rastrojena vojska se povlačila ka granici. — The shattered army was retreating toward the border.

Do not confuse with rastresen "absent-minded".
