2. (of fire; with se) to blaze up; to burst into flame
   Zbog jakog vetra vatra se brzo rasplamsala. — Because of the strong wind, the fire quickly blazed up.
3. (+ acc.) to fan; to inflame
   Njegove reči su samo rasplamsale bes navijača. — His words only inflamed the fans' anger.

Most often used with se: rasplamsati se; the imperfective is rasplamsavati.
