4. (of a person in their field) born; thoroughbred
   On je rasni fudbaler, to se vidi iz prvog dodira lopte. — He's a born footballer, you can tell from his first touch of the ball.

In the sense 'racial' only the definite form rasni (rasna, rasno) is used; the short form rasan belongs to the senses 'purebred, born'.
