(of snow, rain) to fall; to come down

Sinoć je pao prvi sneg. — The first snow fell last night.
(of livestock) to graze

Ovce mirno pasu na brdu. — The sheep are grazing peacefully on the hill.

"To graze" is a separate imperfective verb (pasem, pasao); "to fall" has padnem, pao.
