neš

1. Croat. regional colloq. (in coastal dialects) something
   Imaš li neš za mene? — Have you got something for me?
   Reci neš pametno. — Say something smart.

2. colloq. (2nd person singular of neću) you won't
   Neš valjda sad da odustaneš? — You're not going to give up now, are you?
   Neš ti meni da pričaš šta da radim! — You're not going to tell me what to do!

In Serbia the word for 'something' is nešto. In spoken Serbian and Croatian neš can mean nećeš ('you won't'); in Croatian, especially in coastal speech, it is also used as a shortening of nešto.
