   U apoteci sam kupila mast za opekotine. — I bought an ointment for burns at the pharmacy.
3. (in machinery) grease
   Majstor je stavio malo masti na ležajeve. — The mechanic put some grease on the bearings.
4. (in the body, in nutrition) fat; fats
   Sportisti imaju mali procenat telesne masti. — Athletes have a low percentage of body fat.
   Lekar mi je rekao da izbegavam zasićene masti. — The doctor told me to avoid saturated fats.

The instrumental form is usually «mašću».
