1. raincoat; trench coat; light coat

   Kupila je nov bež mantil za jesen. — She bought a new beige trench coat for the autumn.
2. (work clothing) work coat; white coat; lab coat
   Doktor je obukao beli mantil i ušao u ordinaciju. — The doctor put on his white coat and went into the office.

A warm winter coat is usually called kaput rather than mantil.
