kontra

1. colloq. (+ gen.) against
   Nemam ništa kontra tvog plana. — I have nothing against your plan.
   Uvek ide kontra svih. — He always goes against everyone.

2. colloq. the other way round; against it
   Ti uvek sve radiš kontra. — You always do everything the other way round.
   Svi su glasali za, samo je on bio kontra. — Everyone voted in favour; only he was against.

3. colloq. (in sports, feminine) counterattack
   Postigli su gol iz kontre. — They scored a goal from a counterattack.

A colloquial substitute for protiv; in neutral or formal usage protiv is preferred.
