   Zimi na ulici prodaju pečene kestene. — In winter they sell roasted chestnuts on the street.
2. (of bread, pastry) baked
   Hleb je tek pečen, još je topao. — The bread is freshly baked, it's still warm.

Common in dish names: pečene paprike (roasted peppers), pečeno prase (roast pig).
